The face, hands, arms and legs are painted tan and the feet are domed and painted yellow. The body is unpainted. Facial features are painted, the hair is animal and adhered in two plaits. The puppet is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. The puppet is wearing a white cotton skirt with a blue, purple, pink, red and green floral print; and a long-sleeved cotton blouse. Her plaits are tied with pin ribbons. She wears a red felt hat. The control it T shaped and wooden, stamped Pelham Puppets. The strings are black thread, tied to the control and attached to the body by metal hooks and tying string is used in the limbs. The box has a blue and purple label. Marked; Simple Dancing Puppet with Fully Illustrated Instructions, Made in England.
