Collapsible desk of beechwood, with the legs, interior and undersaide left unpainted, and the remainder painted light green. The top is recessed at the back to hold pens or pencils, and has a ceramic inset inkwell. The sloping lid has exterior hinges of an indented design, and interior beading to ensure stability. The folding legs are bolted together to form an X at each side, with a top stretcher at the front, and a bottom one at the back. The tops of the front legs are notched, and each slots into a square hole in one of the two front corners of the body.
