Judy Trim began working with metallic lustres in the mid-1980s. This pot combines the use of lustre with her fascination for sawdust firing, in order to create warm and rich surface effects.

Tall coiled pot of red earthenware, with rounded base and flattened mouth. Scratched surface, lustred and smoked. Unmarked.
