Box with no back, covered with dark red paper. Front has printed paper to represent the stage of a theatre. The centre of the front is cut-out to reveal the panorama strip. The box has the title 'Excursions on Land and Sea' and ' The World's Wonders'. Inside the box are two spools to which are attached the ends of the panorama strip which runs between the two via metal uprights. At the centre back, supported by a metal strut, is a wooden handle. Between the handle and spools is a leather band and when the handle is turned the band turns the spools (it is too loose to work). In the cente of the box is a metal disc and the reains of a candle. It is lit from behind and viewed from the front giving a world trip on 32 numbered pictures.
