In the centre of each panel is a drawing in colours; on the left a windmill and on the right a watermill. One window is marked 'BOULANGERIE' and the other 'PATISSERIE'. Above is window is a black strip of paper with the word 'BOULANGERIE' and two rose motifs in gold. On the back doors and along the ceiling is a frieze of blue, beige and gold paper. Each back door has two mirrors of silver foil and hanging from two hooks on one of the doors is a double-shelved bread carrier with nine large baguettes and nine smaller loaves. Running along each side are counters painted to resemble grey marble. One one are six metal dishes, each holding pieces of bread, two loaves and one cream sandwich cake. Above the counter is a metal stand with a clear plastic shelf with five round loaves. On the other counter are eight dishes of cakes and pies, and two plastic bags, one with cake decorations and the other with candied orange slices. On the stand above are two blue cake tins with painted lids and five plastic bags of various cake decorations. There is a table or moveable counter painted the same as the other counters. On it are a pair of scales, a weight, a pie, a red cake tin with a painted lid, a brown loaf and a lamp. The lamp is fitted with an electrical wire and a plug so it can be lit. The ceiling bears a rococo-style image painted in gold, green and other colours with a central motif of a woman in a white gown.

All bread is made from baked dough and the cakes and pies of painted plaster. The underside of the base is roguh and marked in pencil '3'.
