Object history | Given to the museum in 1980 by David F. Peters-Ellis as part of a collection of toys (see MISC.310 to 338-198; RF 80/1864). Most of the toys in Mr Peters-Ellis' collection were acquired or given second-hand to the donor while in Australia in the late-1940s and early-1950s. The Dinky models were exported to Australia and brought back to England by the donor. |
