Models of Roman Gladiators and Chariots. This a is boxed set of 12 figures in two groups of six. They are of die cast lead, and all figures carry shields and swords. The bases are rectangular marked JOHILLCO. ENGLAND. One group is painted gold with red and green tunics. The other group is painted pink with blue and red tunics.
The box is of cardboard covered with med paper and printed with a label which reads: JOHILLCO SERIES METAL SOLDIERS ROMAN GLADIATOR SET COPYRIGHT MODELS NO MADE IN ENGLAND plus the Johillco Registered Trademark.
Chariot, not part of the boxed set, with gladiator, gold with one brown and one white horse. Man is painted silver, blue, red and green marked: JOHILLCO ENGLAND COPYRIGHT.
Chariot, not part of the boxed set, die cast lead now mounted on a wooden blocks, with two white horses. Horses marked T&B COPYRIGHT.
