Costume for a female Temple Attendant consisting of:
Short jacket with small collar of lilac wool and crimson satin decorated with braid motifs. The light carmine silk sleeves are painted with lilac spots and banded with lilac wool edged chrome yellow and violet and the wide three-quarter length oversleeves are of chrome yellow wool appliqued with crimson lozenges with a criss cross gold frame. The lower edge is bound with deep violet wool set with gilt studs.
Short semi-circular stiffened overskirt open down the front, of crimson satin. At the waist is a band of white satin painted chrome yellow and deep violet. Down the skirt are bands of deep lilac wool set with composition roundels, white satin painted with yellow and violet triangles and, at the hem, white satin painted with violet triangles and a chrome yellow line.
