Much White Russian propaganda played on antisemitism and conjured up an alliance between Communists and Jews against Russia. This theme was especially important in the portrayal of Trotsky, the commander of the Red Army, who was Jewish. Here he is Judas's grandson, looking on as Christ/ Russia is led to Golgotha by Red Army men. The text promises Russia's resurrection from Communism.
