Place of origin |
'Every man woman and child is a partner' World War II propaganda poster, produced to mobilise people into production for the War Effort. Photographic image depicting a collection of people, dressed in various cloths, including suits and overalls, moving diagonally (and growing in size, to suggest perspective) from the upper left to the lower right of the poster. Along the lower right edge, only the heads of people are visible. On the left of the poster, superimposed over some of the figures, is a translucent red arrow. On this arrow, in opaque white letters, quoted from Roosevelt, are the words, '"Every man woman and child is a partner" President Roosevelt'. On the right of the poster, in within a solid and opaque, blue, rectangle, are the words, 'In 1942 60,000 planes 45,000 tanks 20,000 A.A. guns 8,000,000 tons of ships'.
