Long-skirted 18th century coat in cream velvet, trimmed with silver braid and buttonsand gold braid daisies with gold metalic centres. The tuned-back cuffs trimmed with cream sateen, gold braid, lime-green silk and silver lace. Beneath an attached white satin waistcoat with silver frogging. The skirt of the coat is lined with lime green sateen
A. Stiffened white silk skirt edged with silver lace and decorated with appliqued border of couched gold cord intersperes with gold tissue and hanging gold tassels. The skirt is lined with hessian and the fastening cord has been replaced by thick string
B. Baggy pantaloons in silver lame sewn decorated with silver studs gathered at the ankles. The top of the pantaloons (undeen under the skirt is made in cream cotton and fastened with a draw string.
C. Long lime-green silk sash with gold metalic fringe at both ends.
