Chinese propaganda posters such as this one were aimed at the country's younger citizens. Used as a means of educating children, graphics of this type encouraged good behaviour as well as consideration for others and the environment. Two artists worked together in order to combine a traditional social realist graphic style with smaller, playful cartoon-style images meant to appeal to more youthful sensibilities.
