The English Opera House, now the Palace Theatre, was designed by Edward Thomas Collcutt, assisted by G. H. Holloway, from ideas by the impresario Richard D'Oyly Carte who was the theatre's proprietor and manager. The booklet includes black and white line drawings of the facade and details of the interior and exterior.
