Glove puppet of a Chinese character from a Punch and Judy show with a carved wooden head, hands and feet. His head is bald apart from a tuft of pink horsehair and his head and face are painted green with features delineated in red and black paint. He shows three teeth in his partly-open mouth and there is damage to the nose, hands and one boot. He wears a long robe in metallic thread material of pink and green, with two pleated magenta ribbon trims down the front. The robe is tied at the neck with a purple cotton ribbon. The puppet has a stuffed cotton body and cotton trousers patterned with a floral design in magenta, cream and mauve.
