Walnut veneered cabinet on chest of drawers. The upper section has a drawer in its convex frieze above the falling front that conceals drawers and pigeon holes within. The lower section has two large drawers and two small.

Lucas offers two Queen Anne cabinets, one (W.11) is "walnut…with falling front & 2 brass mounts".

both these Queen Anne cabinets would be very welcome additions to the collection of English furniture in the Museum.

Describes cabinet: falling front, walnut with brass escutcheons and handles. Queen Anne.

Condition noted: both (W.11 & W.12) cracked.

In 1968 this was lent to the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.
