Enamel miniature of Louis XIV of France. Three-quarter face, short half-length portrait of a grey-eyed elderly gentleman. He wears armour with edging of crimson material, a white lace frill at the neck, and across the breast the blue ribbon of the Order of the Saint Esprit. Brownish background.
