Slightly tapering cylindrical glass pharmacy jar with stepped neck; the cork bung is missing. Contains lumps of blue enamel and loose paper label printed 'Louis MILLENET Petit Fils Fabrique d’Emaux & Couleurs Genève' and inscribed ‘Bleu Cavande’ and with the weight '180 grams'. 6 ounces capacity (the base being moulded ‘6 oz’).

Object history
Provenance: enamel samples C.69 to C.92-2002 are from the effects of Ezra Dearing (born William Jones), who had studied at the RCA and was a potter and modeller and studied gold and silversmithing. He bought the enamels second-hand out of interest but the vendor's daughter did not think he used them himself.
