Alma Tadema's painting, 'Pastimes in Egypt', 3000 years ago, 1863, is now in the Harris Museum and Art Gallery, Preston. The overall conception of the banqueting scene is said to be inspired by a painting in the British Museum from the eighteenth dynasty tomb of Nebamun.
