Greyish white jade vained with black. In the form of the archaic vessel known as zhi, with swelling body, flaming lip, and high, hollow ribbed foot; it is oval in section. Below the lip at one side is a circular ring handle protruding thumb-rest. The surface of the cup is entirely covered with designs carved in low relief, representing four zhi dragons against a background of mountain peaks and swirling clouds. There are slight conventional designs on the handle.
