On the right is a female figure wearing a red dress and yellow and green hat with a red feather. They are both stood in a field.
On the inside on the left is a piece of text by Robert Herrick, and on the right is a depiction of a scene with seven figures, possibly carollers.
On the back of the card is a depiction of an ink pot with a quill resting inside it, and another one next to it, surrounded by sheets of paper.
