Object history
The design of the poster echoes Brandt's ironwork designs of the period, especially the 'grille d'interieur' reproduced in H. Clouzot: 'La ferronerie moderne', Paris, 1926, pl. 4. The Museum holds a variety of Brandt's metalwork. See CIRC.264-1971 and M.88&A-1979 for examples.
