Printed cotton, of curtain or dress weight with a cream ground patterned with a series of stripes formed of, or holding floral of elements:
a) a grey ‘ribbon’ holding small and large bunches of flower heads connected by thin blue-mauve floral meanders
b) a thin intertwined meander with small bunch of two floral heads at each connection point, the inner spaces being filled with small purple dots. A series of broken purple criss-cross lined join a) and b)
c) a scalloped edge emphasized with purple dots framing a narrow grey stripe with a central line in purple of very small floral elements.
Repeat then of c), b) and a)
Predominant colours of purple and two mauves, two greens, light blue and pale grey with white highlights. Two selvedges.
