Object history | Costume for Juliet worn in Rudolf Nureyev's ballet 'Romeo & Juliet', performed by the London Festival Ballet, London Coliseum, June 2nd 1977. The music for the ballet was composed by Sergey Prokofiev, and the scenery & costumes were designed by Ezio Frigerio & Franca Squarciapino. The production has subsequently been performed by several other ballet companies included the Ballet of La Scala, Milan, and the Paris Opera. |
