‘Amerapoora: Wooden Bridge’ 1 September–21 October 1855 This sweeping view toward a three-quarter-mile-long bridge across a lagoon shows the surveyor’s eye that Tripe brought to a scene. To highlight the scale of the massive teak pillars in the foreground, he included two figures sitting in the shade of a tree to the right.(24/06/15-11/10/15)
