The inscription around this bowl is a prayer for the Fourteen Immaculates. They are the Prophet Muhammad, his daughter Fatimah, her husband Ali, and their descendants, who are considered Muhammad’s rightful successors. Below the inscription, a group of horsemen are depicted hunting lions, ibex and geese.
