Chair with rectangular back and trapezoidal seat, upholstered in a patterned brocade of green, salmon and silver, edged with silver braid. Raised on richly carved, gessoed and gilded cabriole forelegs and conforming ogee back legs, which all have stylised square-hoof feet, ornamented with scrolling foliage. Seat rails on front and sides similarly carved, gessoed and gilded, each centred with an arrangement of stylised foliage.
