Wardrobe of oak and mahogany, enriched with marquetry of Hungarian ash, satinwood, sycamore, harewood and holly and with applied carvings in sabicue. The mounts are of gilt brass. The door has a large mirror with applied waterlily leaves and stems carved in openwork at the corners. At the bottom of the door is a lunette containing water-lilies and leaves, the stems of which are continued in a corresponding panel beneath. Each side is divided into two panels, the upper and longer one being decorated with irises and a dragonfly in marquetry. The moulded pediment-shaped top is similarly ornamented with poppies. Inside are five shelves and a drawer. The whole rests on four slightly splayed feet.
