Sketchbook containing drawings dated from May 1914 to June 1915 of Byland Abbey, Cartmel, Criccieth, Harlech, Helmsley, Hugill, Kendal, Mochras Island, Rievaulx Abbey and York. 80 pp. (4 missing), bound in brown canvas boards. On inside front cover is pasted the trade label of Messrs. George Rowney & Co; on pp. 1 and 80 and inside back cover are inscribed a number of addresses and a copy of an inscription from a tomb in Childs Wickham Churchyard.
