Place of origin

This pop-up card simulaneously represents Britain past and present, using two iconic images; its pop-up part has the figure of Britannia around which is wrapped in contemporary lettering the word London. On the back of the card is a street sign, with 'City of Westminster' in gothic lettering above 'Carnaby St. W.' Carnaby Street is an iconic London street for the 'Swinging Sixties' in London, the centre of innovative fashion retail and attitude that echoed prevailing spirit of sexual and political revolution.
