Object history
Called Augustus Haslewood by his original owner, Florence Mabel Haslewood (baptised 09/02/1860, died 1897). Florence Mabel was the sixth and youngest of the children (all of whom were girls) of Edward Haslewood and his wife (neé Nancy Julia Windeler), and 'Augustus' may have been either her imaginary child or imaginary brother.
