Bill Graham included a wide variety of entertainment in the performances he organised for the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. The venue was named after its street address on the corners of Geary and Fillmore Streets. During the late 1960s and ealry 1970s, the various "Bill Graham presents..." line-ups included musicians, dancers and spectacular psychedelic light shows. This poster advertises a performance by controversial stand-up comedian Lenny Bruce. The show on 25 June was to be Bruce's last, as he died on August 3rd 1966 of a morphine overdose.
