All manufactured items were tested by Palitoy before being sold. As the company was beginning to make this line of dolls under licence from Kenner Products, each had to be fully tested for poisonous substances and fire risk. All the vinyl and plastic parts have been tested, though there is no trace of fire testing on these parts.
