The identity of the costume is uncertain but it could be one of the costumes made for the production of Les Sylphides danced by Genée and her company with Alexander Volinin on her world tour in 1912. Miss Fisher's list of costumes for that tour includes '16 White sateen bodices trimmed lace and ribbon at 10 shillings each and 4 white Satin bodices fot Miss Peters, Mortimer, Pruzina, Schmoltz, no trimming on these bodices (3 pound for the four)

Costume made for Miss Peters in an unidentified Genee Company production, possibly Les Sylphides c.1912.
White satin boned bodice with cotton lining with small sleeves with silk net trim. The costume has a low back and laces with hooks and the name 'Peters' is sewn into the bodice. The costume includes under-arm sweat protectors with a 'plastic substance in them.
