Physical description

Shadow puppet of a horse, originally constructed in ten pieces of card, painted in scarlet and black. The tail section is missing, and there had been damage to the ears, mane and the face. The sections are joined together with knotted string

This shadow puppet is similar in style to the Chinese figures, S.612 - S.614-2001 and S.616-2001, and the boat, S.615-2001. These puppets appear to be part of a group
