Costume for the Spanish Dance worn by Sara Luzita in Act II of Lev Ivanov's ballet 'Casse Noisette' (The Nutcracker), Ballet Rambert, Tivoli Theatre, Sydney, Australia, 1948. The music for the ballet was composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and the scenery and costumes were designed by Harry Cordwell. The Sugar Plum Fairy was danced by Belinda Wright, and Sara Luzita was partnered by John Gilpin in the Spanish dance. The balled was performed under the title 'The Nutcracker Suite' on the Australian tour.
