Object history | This puppet, and S.261-1998 and S.262-1998, were made and used by Walter Wilkinson, a solo puppet-showman who travelled in Britain and America with a handcart loaded with his booth and puppets. He wrote a series of books about his life and experiences: the first, titled The Peep Show, was published in 1927 |
