Object history | Costume for a Soldier worn by Mr Clifton in the ballet 'La Camargo' performed at the London Coliseum, May 20th, 1912. The music for the ballet was composed by Dora Bright, and the production was designed and produced by C Wilhelm. The scenery was painted by Joseph Harker , and the costume were made by Miss Hastings and Morris Angel. Adeline Genée starred as Mlle Camargo, Alexis Kosloff performed the role of Gerard Van Staaden, and Jack Millar appeared as King Louis XV of France. The ballet was presented by Oswald Stoll. |
