An almost square 'moon' shawl; dark red ground with staggered rows of floral botehs, and a central circular medallion with floral design. Corner elements are formed of quarters of the central medallion design. There is an integral narrow border with floral meander design at top and bottom, and an added narrow border with a white ground and blue and red floral meandersewn on at both sides. The four corners are patched with small square patches from a different shawl.
