Object history | This costume was worn by Adeline Genée in the Hungarian Dance in the musical comedy 'The Bachelor Belles' performed at the Chestnut Street Opera House, Philadelphia, USA, 3rd October 1910. The book and lyrics for the show were by Harry B. Smith, and the music was composed by Raymond Hubble. The music for the Hungarian solo was taken from Brahms' Hungarian Dance No. 4. |
