The Finnish textiles company Marimekko, primarily designing and making furnishing, dress fabrics and dress, also markets a range of accessories to complement their lifestyle and household lines. Bowls to this design are made in a range of colours exclusively for Marimekko by the Nuutajärvi glassworks, part of the littala group. The completely anonymous design was chosen from a stock of 19th century glass moulds held by the glassworks.
