Standing cup, silver-gilt, the bowl is encircles by a moulding dividing it into two, the upper half plain and trumpet shaped, the lower ornamented with conventional vine pattern on an applied band; the bottom bulges out and is enriched with guilloche and scale pattern. The baluster stem, chased with cartouche work and guilloche, rises from a circular foot enriched with rayed ornament, acanthus leaves and fruit. Mouldings of ladder pattern encircle the bowl, stem and foot.
