Place of origin |
A woman wearing a pale blue evening dress and matching stockings and shoes stands with her back to the viewer on a patio. Her dress hangs loosely as far as her waist, and she wears a pink fabric belt with white spots. Two straps of fabric lead from the bottom of the bodice of the dress to her wrists. Her blonde hair is pinned up.
She is facing in the direction of four admiring men, all in brown suits with rose button-holes and handkerchiefs. They include man smoking a cigar to her left, a man wearing a monocle and a bearded man sitting in a rocking chair.
The patio has black and white tiles and is furnished with two urns of flowers. A stone ballustrade is partly visible to the left. The night is dark and sky starry.
