Object history | This print is one of the Aluminium Series, made in an edition of 75 in 1970. There were nine prints in all, see Circ.165 to 170--1975 for the six now acquired. The prints were made at Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles, California, and each is marked with the Gemini imprint at lower right corner. The images, all blocks of stripes of solid silver-grey tone with narrow white lines showing between the stripes, were printed lithograph and screenprint to achieve a particular solid effect in the colour. |
