Object history | This print is one of the Multicoloured Squares series made in an edition of 100 in 1972. There were six prints in all, and for the four now purchased see Circ.171 to 174-1975. The prints were made at Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles California, and each is marked with the Gemini imprint at lower right corner. The images are placed to one side of the sheet (as usual for Stella prints), and are composed of concentric squares of colour bands between screenprinted fine grey lines. The colours are bright, ranging from yellow through the spectrum to deep blue, or grey tones, printed by lithography. |
