Formerly in the collection of Mr. Wilhelm Terjung, Director of Karlsruhe factory, 1932-1970, previously Sales Manager under Wolfgang Müller von Baczko probably from the late 1920s. Unlike those other pieces acquired from Terjung's collection, this basin has no connection with Lindig; his designs were only for tea, coffee and chocolate. Information on and dating of all the Karlsruhe pieces has been provided by Peter Schmitt of the Badisches Landesmuseum, Karlsruhe.
