Object history | This set of sixteen prints was produced in 1971. The artist had used these directional line images since 1968; the combinations of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines are used to illustrate the permutations of a given sequence in simple linear terms. The lines have been produced in different media, including pencil lines directly on the gallery wall. [Taken from Departmental Circulation Register 1971] |
