Design for an arm chair. The plans give front and side elevations along with an aerial view of the proposed arm chair with measurements acompanying each drawing. A scale is given at the bottom right of the drawing as 1/2 inch to 1 foot, also that this was Job No. 185 and Drawing No. 1, and the date of the initial drawing being 11/03/38 with revisions having been made on 07/04/38. Inscribed at the bottom left: 'Showwood - Waxed Oak [;] Feet to be fitter with Domes of Silence.' Below this is a series of notes, 'Sizes to be taken at Exhibition [;] Seat Depth (back to front) 27" [;] Seat width (inside arms at top) 17 1/2" [;] arms width (at top 7 1/2") [;] overall width of chair 32 1/2".' There are also some faint, unidentifiable drawings.
