Linen or heavy cotton. Cream background printed with small cross forms in grey and green, over which is a flowering tree shrub motif arranged in alternating off-set rows:
a) half motif of shrub containing pink bird, central shrub motif (joined to next repeat) containing brown bird amongst exotic fruits, followed by half motif of shrub with grey bird.
b) one motif of shrub with fruit and flowers, and one motif of exotic "peony" like flowers and grey bird.
All the stems and tree barks are in brown or grey and green. The predominant colours are 2 or 3 greys, 2 pinks, a deep red, 3 browns, 2 greens and all are edged in black. Two selvedges.
