Marionette of 'Bell-Belle', a peasant girl. Carved and painted wood, the head with blonde hair and a painted face with glass eyes. Her arms and legs articulated. She wears an old gold blouse with puff sleeves, a green knee-length skirt trimmed with gold ribbon, a green velvet bolero trimmed with similar ribbon and a multi-coloured tie belt edged with gold coins. With an attached circular percussion instrument consisting of a wooden frame with six small bells
