Historical context
Most of the Strawberry Shortcake dolls and toys had special B berries printed on the packaging. These could be cut out and collected. Each product had a leaflet and contained in this was a page to stick the cut out berries to and a coupon to be filled in for a special gift - a ring, a bracelet or a necklace. The bracelet required 8 berries. These gifts were not available in any other way.
